Device information widgets
In the Navixy platform, the device control panel is a hub that provides detailed information and tools for managing objects and the associated GPS devices and sensors.
To access this panel, simply press the “info” button or double-click on a device in the Object list. Once opened, the control panel displays comprehensive data about the selected object and its IoT devices, including current status, GPS location, and telemetry data. Additionally, it offers various operational management tools, all conveniently located in one place.
Widgets customization
The widget list in the device control panel is highly customizable to suit your needs. You can easily expand or collapse all widgets for a comprehensive or compact view. To do this, use the "Show all" button to expand all widgets and the "Hide all" button to collapse them. If you prefer a different order for your widgets, click the "Change order" button to drag and rearrange them as you see fit. Moreover, you can customize which widgets are displayed by clicking on the "Gear" icon and unchecking the boxes next to any widgets you wish to hide.
Key widgets explained
General information: Displays critical details such as the device model, ID, connection status, movement status, battery level, GSM signal strength, and more. This widget also provides information on whether the device is in roaming mode.
Location: Provides detailed information about the tracker's current location, including the address, latitude, longitude, speed, and direction.
OBD2 & CAN: If the tracker is connected to the vehicle's CAN bus or OBD2 connector, this widget will display data like fuel level, engine speed, coolant temperature, and diagnostic trouble codes (DTC).
Sensor readings: Shows data from sensors configured in the device settings, such as temperature or fuel levels. This widget also allows you to star favorite sensors for quick access.
Odometer: Displays the device’s mileage. You can manually adjust the mileage by clicking the "Edit" button.
Engine hours: Shows the total running time of the engine. Like the odometer, engine hours can be adjusted by clicking the "Edit" button.
Inputs and outputs: Displays the state of connected sensors and allows you to control outputs, such as ignition, by sending commands directly from the widget.
Driver: Provides information about the assigned driver and allows you to change the driver directly from the widget.
Working statuses: Displays and allows changes to the device’s assigned status, such as "In Transit" or "Idle."
Recent events: Shows recent alerts and allows you to hide specific events from view.
Electronic padlock: For devices with a smart lock feature, this widget lets you manage the lock state, including remotely locking or unlocking the device.
By using these widgets, you can fully customize and control how you interact with your GPS devices, ensuring that all relevant data and controls are at your fingertips. This level of customization and accessibility helps you manage your fleet more effectively and with greater precision.
