Object widget
The Object widget serves as a comprehensive collection of telematics data blocks in the Navixy platform for monitoring and managing your assets. This widget provides an in-depth look at your GPS devices and sensors connected to them.
Navigation
By default, to access the detailed view of a specific object, either double-click on the object in the list or hover your mouse over it and click the appeared
icon.
If the Show info by click option is enabled in the Additional settings, clicking on an object also opens the Object widget.
Once opened, the panel displays extensive information about the selected object, including current status, GPS location, and further telematics data. All operational management tools are conveniently located in one place, allowing for efficient fleet management and quick response to any issues that arise.

The top section of the widget panel provides essential details about the GPS device, including its label, movement status, and connection status. In addition, it offers some useful controls:
Customization options
The widget layout provides robust customization capabilities to help you organize information according to your needs:telematics blocks visibility - click the
to open widget settings and select which data blocks you want to be displayed. All available blocks are selected by default.
Layout organization - click the
button next to the cog icon to enable layout management mode. When enabled, you can drag data blocks to your preferred positions. In this mode, you can also change the order of information inside the blocks manually in the same drag-and-drop man
Street view access
Clicking the widget enables Street view, displaying real-world imagery of the device positioning on the map for improved context and navigation.Apply Favorites to all
Theicon allows you to instantly mark all telemetry blocks as favorites, ensuring their information appears under the device label in the Object list. For details on this feature, see Favorites.
Telematics data blocks
The Object widget organizes crucial information through specialized data blocks. Each component serves a specific purpose in providing comprehensive monitoring and management capabilities.
The availability of the blocks and their content depend on the object a widget is opened for. They contain only the information that is transmitted by a GPS tracker or sensors connected to it. Their further appearence can be customized, for details see Customization options in Device overview.
Here's a detailed overview of the available blocks:
Widget | Description |

Location Information | Delivers precise positioning data including the latest known location with either a street address or GPS coordinates, accompanied by timestamps. The widget also tracks current speed and altitude measurements. |
Device Status | Provides comprehensive device monitoring by displaying the model, ID, current connection status, movement status, battery level, and GSM signal strength. Additionally tracks whether the device is operating in roaming mode. |
Plan Information | Manages subscription-related information by showing the current device plan and tracking the next scheduled payment date. |
OBD2 & CAN | Connects to the vehicle's onboard systems to provide real-time diagnostic data, including fuel level, engine speed, coolant temperature, and any diagnostic trouble codes when the tracker is properly connected to the vehicle's CAN bus or OBD2 port. |
Sensor Readings | Monitors and displays data from all configured device sensors, providing recent readings with timestamps. Users can mark important sensors as favorites for quick access to critical measurements. |
Odometer | Tracks the device's total mileage and provides functionality to view and correct this data through an "Edit" button, ensuring accurate distance records. |
Engine Hours | Monitors the total running time of the engine and, like the odometer, includes the ability to make manual corrections via an "Edit" button for accurate usage tracking. |
Inputs | Monitors the current state of various connected sensors, including the ignition status and other vehicle sensors such as door sensors, providing real-time feedback on vehicle status. |
Outputs | Enables active control over devices connected to the GPS tracker, including features such as remote vehicle immobilization, allowing for direct intervention when necessary. |
Driver | Maintains current driver assignments and enables direct management of these assignments, allowing you to view and change the assigned driver directly through the widget. |
Working Statuses | Manages operational states by displaying and enabling changes to the device's current status, such as "In Transit" or "Idle," helping track vehicle utilization. |
Recent Events | Tracks and displays recent alerts related to the object, with the added functionality to hide specific events from view for a more focused monitoring experience. |
Electronic Padlock | Provides security management for devices equipped with smart lock features, enabling remote control over the lock state including both locking and unlocking capabilities. |
Favorites
The Object List is able to display not only device names and connection statuses but also selected telematics data from GPS trackers and connected sensors. To include specific data in the list, individual data entries must be marked as Favorite, to do it:
Hover over the desired data entry within inside Object widget.
Click the appeared
icon to mark it as Favorite.
Once marked as Favorite, the selected telematics data entry will appear under the corresponding device label in the Object List, ensuring quick and easy access. To remove an entry from the list display, click the star icon again.
